¹³ Sing to the Lord!
Praise the Lord,
for he has delivered the life of the needy
    from the hand of the wicked.

¹⁴ May the day I was born be cursed.
Do not let the day my mother gave birth to me be blessed.
¹⁵ May the man be cursed who brought news to my father,
“A son is born to you,”
the man who brought him great joy.
